My Cappuccino is a sugarfree coffee, suitable for Diabetes, weight watchers, and the health conscious.
The sugarfree coffee is produced from the finest, freshest and best imported coffee beans of Arabica variety. The coffee beans have been singly hand picked, elaborately roasted to perfection and skillfully blended by a Master Roaster of Malaysia white coffee (or some like to call them Ipoh white coffee) since 1968, to let you enjoy the full aroma of coffee the way it should be anywhere… anytime.
No table sugar
Believe it or not, My Cappuccino does not contain table sugar. It’s sweetness is provided by an Amino Acid Based (AAB) sweetener imported from Japan, and made from constituents of protein commonly found in food.
Though it tastes very similar in quality to table sugar with a clean after taste, it has only 1/200 the calories of sucrose gram to gram.
Its approved by FAO/WHO’s Joint Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA) and is used in more than 100 countries worldwide, in over 5000 products.
Its digestion, absorption and metabolism process are similar to that of protein from our diet.
The acceptable daily intake recommended by JECFA is 40 mg per kilogram of body weight. Means 2 gm (the amount contains in 40 sachets of My Cappuccino) is the approved daily intake volume for a person weighing 50 kg.
Table sugar only contributes to calorie intake an does not have any nutrition value. Excess calories consumed, if not “burnt”, may cause us to gain weight and bring about other health problems. We are already consuming too much sugar in our daily food and snakes. In addition, table sugar may contributes to dental caries and can also compound the negative effects of caffeine on depression.
Fortified with Grape Seed Extract
Grape Seed Extract is well known for strengthening the Cardiovascular system, a super oxidant, a very powerful free radical scavenger and antagonist.
Its a mixture of Procyanidins also known as Oligomeric Pro-Anthocyanidins. And its proven to be 20 to 50 times more effective than Vitamin C and Vitamin E in neutralizing free radicals (FR). It does not only neutralize FR directly, it also enhances the effectiveness of Vitamin C and Vitamin E in neutralizing FR.
FR are unstable and highly reactive molecules having a stray or unpaired electron. Excessive FR cause devastating oxidative damages to our cells, tissues and organs. And contributes to many diseases including complications of diabetes, heart problems, stroke, cancers, pre-matured aging, Alzheimer disease, etc..
No Cafestol and Kahweol
Cafestol and Kahweol are two natural chemicals in coffee beans. They have been identified to raise Cholesterol levels and increase risk of heart problems.
People suffering from Diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity as well as smokers have elevated cardiovascular risks and therefore they must avoid Cafestol and Kahweol.
Low Caffeine coffee
Low caffeine coffee is a term that is used by coffee producers to describe coffee that has not been subjected to a process of decaffeination, but is substantially lower in caffeine than average coffee. My Cappuccino’s caffeine level is only up to 100 mg per cup (of 200 ml).
